Well, the rain finally went away this morning after raining all night long really heavy. The balloon fiesta was canceled this morning and we were crossing our fingers that the balloon glow wouldn't be canceled in the evening. ~ How much fun can two little boys have in one tiny puddle? LOTS!

Here they are all cleaned up and ready to go in their Steelers shirts.

Before we went to the balloon fiesta Lisa made us dinner at her house and Aunt Becky gave the boys puzzles that she brought from PA.

This years favorite balloon for the boys was Spiderman. Last year we went to the special shapes glow and they had a Darth Vader balloon which was every one's favorite!

Isaac and Eric getting the best seats at the fiesta. There are so many people there you are afraid they will get lost so it is better to have them attached to you at all times.

For those of you who used to live in New Mexico, if you are not home sick yet, here is a picture of the Sandia Mountains turning pink as the sun starts to set.

Aunt Becky, Dad and Isaac watching the balloons start to inflate.

It was so cold because of the rain! Isaac kept saying, "I want some heat!" To warm up we would go and stand next to a balloon while the burner was on ~ That will get you warm real fast.

This is what's called an all glow. Everyone counts down from 10 and then all the balloons on the field light up at one time. The pictures are not as good as being there in person.

At the end of the balloon glow a big firework show is put on. I was holding Isaac in my lap and was saying the colors of the fireworks every time one went off. He turned to me and said, "This is a good way to learn your colors!" Can you imagine schools adopting and fireworks program to teach colors? The kids would love it!

Yes, you officially made me miss NM very much. I keep telling Ryan we need to come down for the Balloon Fiesta sometime. Maybe next year?
You got some really nice pictures. I love the one with the Sandias in the background.
